About me
My life is dedicated to art music and literature.
Completed Bsc, PGDCA, DTP courses. Visharad in Hindi language. Studied Animation, web page designing, recording and music direction...
Now writing stories poems, painting, music composing,
teaching art.. etc.
From childhood I was a voracious reader and my room was full of books and magazines. I started writing poems and stories from teanage. After completing Bsc course joined Kerala Film Academy to study film direction and script writing. Also participated in many literary and film script writing camps in various parts of Kerala. From 1999 I am presenting stories in various literary meetings in Kerala. In 2001 my first book was published and former finance minister Dr. Thomas Issac MLA published that book in Kalavoor. In 2006 my first short story published in 'Kunkumam' weekly. Since then various other publications also began to publish my stories and poems . In 2009 my seccond book was published and famous cartoonist Sri. Rajunair published that book in Changanasserry Sargakshethra literary meeting. But most of my literary works are not yet published or reached people who like my creations.
LITERATURE
Music
I started to study Carnatic vocal from Kalavoor Balan sir . Then Kalamandalam Ramachandra Kaimal sir, Kanichukulangara Ambi sir, Sreedidya teacher, Janardhanan Potti sir , Sunil Pallippuram sir tought me music. Now I am studying under Sree Dhanapalan sir. Various books, Cds and internet also helped me to study art and music.
I started to learn keyboard from keyboardist Sri. Venu sir. I am learning guitar from Sri. Varghese Kalavoor.
PAINTING
Ever since I can remember I had loved to draw.. From the year 1998 I began to study painting seriously. My first teacher was late Sri S. L Larious and after that artist K Palani guided me in painting. My first painting exhibition was in 2000 and that was inaugurated by Artist K Palani sir at Kalavoor. Same year conducted a painting exhibition in Alappuzha city and that was inaugurated by cultural activist and writer Sri. Kalleli Raghavan Pillai sir. Three more solo painting exhibitions conducted later, inaugurated by Dr. Thomas Issac MLA, Adv. Arif MLA, film director and writer Sri. Kalavoor Ravikumar.
I also participated in many group painting exhibitions and group banner painting shows on road side for important social issues conducted by many cultural organisations.
CARTOON
CAMPS
I have participated in may literary, film and art camps from 1999. That were great help in understanding secrets of creative writing and film making.
1, 'Cherath' Literary forum short story camp, Alappuzha in 1999 January 9, 10. I still remember the class taken by Viswakumar sir ablut time and space in stories.
2, three day talent development program on film, telefilm appreciation and production techniques with special emphasis on scripting, direction and acting held at Trivandrum from 29-12-1999 to 31-12-1999 under the auspices of National viewers council in association with National film academy. Veteran film director and lyricist Sri. P Bhaskaran master gave certificate. Many film directors, actors, script writers, cameramen etc took classes.
3, Yuvakala sahithy two day film appreciation camp in 2001 March 13,14. Film script writer Sri. Cherian Kalpakavati was camp director.
4, Samskara sahithy literary camp in 2001 January 6,7 in Palakad district. .The certificate was signed by veteran writer Sri. Punathil Kunjabdulla and Prof. M. Achuthan.
5, 'Sahithya Kalari'. Ambalappuzha P K memorial library in. 2005 March 29, 30.
6, Film script writing camp by ALA in Kozhikode district in 2006 Mey 7. Film script writer Sri. Sathrughanan was camp director. Film director Sri. Blessi took class and gave certificte. Many experienced script writers like Sri. T. Damodaran, Sri. Kalavoor Ravikumar too classes.
7, Great Malyalm poet Kunchan Nambiar memorial literary congress in 2013 Mey 4 . Sri. Vayalar Sarachandravarma signed certificate.
8, 'Thakazhi' literary seminar by Kerala Sahithya Academy in 2012 Mey 11, 12. Certificate was signed by Si. Perumpatavam Sreedharan.
9, 'Yuvakala sahithy' Film study camp in 2012 Mey 18, 19, 20. Certificates were signed by famous Malayalam poet Sri. P.K Gopi and Dr. Vathsalan Vathuserry.
I started to draw cartoons from 1998 and my first cartoon essay published my first Malayalam book ‘Ozhukunna poovithal'
In 2000. Then my dear friend and writer Dr. JKS Veettoor asked me to draw cartoon and cartoon essay in annual magazine of ‘Nakshathra publicatios’. Then he also asked me to draw cartoon essay in his monthly magazine ‘’Sahithya mithram’ and I continued to draw that for about two years.
Evening daily news paper Rashtra Deepika published my cartoon from 2007 and I got several prizes from there. At that time I send a cartoon to Malayala Manoram weekly and an artist Sri Raghu Kumarakam, working there saw my cartoon and bio data and called me to work as a part time cartoon and caricature teacher in Sargakshethra cultural center Changanasserry, which was affiliated to many schools. I still work there. In the year 2010 I made a cartoon animation song ‘Yanthra paat’, in my home computer and with that I become part of album industry.
